Toyota Free Yr Radio headed to New York City and partnered with KEXP for a second year to produce and broadcast interviews and performances at CMJ 2011 Music Marathon & Film Festival. Live from the lobby of the Ace Hotel New York at 20 West 29th Street on October 19, 20 and 21 for a FREE series of live and intimate performances some of the best bands in independent music. You could also tune in to listen to the live broadcast on KEXP 90.3FM in Seattle and streaming online at kexp.org.

New to the Free Yr Radio stage this year, fans were invited to stay for afterhours DJ sets from some of the most celebrated independent record labels in the industry spinning live from 5 p.m. - 12 a.m. in the Ace Hotel lobby. During the shows, fans could head over to the Ace Hotel gallery space to view, Thanks for the Memories, an archival exhibit of Art Chantry’s iconic Seattle rock posters. Limited-run, custom screen print posters designed by Art Chantry were also available as a free gift to fans while supplies lasted.
